Heme to make silver screen debut with ‘Hothat Dekha’

Newbie actress Jannatul Sumaiya Heme, who became very busy on the small screen after winning the title of champions in a reality show in 2014, is going to make her silver screen debut with a joint-venture production titled ‘Hothat Dekha’. The film is jointly directed by Reshmi Mitra (India) and Shahadat Hossain (Bangladesh), while Alok Mukhopadhyay has written the screenplay for the film. The film is set to hit cinemas in both Bangladesh and Kolkata on this Friday.
DhakaLive has news that Heme is currently spending busy time with the promotions of the film, in which she has played as Manasi.
Heme said about her first film, “I have been truly waiting for the film’s release. As the day is approaching, I started feeling nervous. I am also little worried about how the viewers will accept me. But I am confident about my acting that my performance will be liked by the viewers.” “I am grateful to Reshmi Mitra who cooperated me immensely. I earnestly request the audience to watch the film at cinema halls”, the actress added.
Ahead of the National Film Day, Heme’s film, which has been produced under the banner of Impress Telefilm, will be released in the countrywide cinema halls, including Jamuna Blockbuster, Basundhara Star Cineplex, Balaka Cineworld and Shyamoli in the capital.
The film stars Ilias Kanchan, Heme, Munira Yusuf Memy, Waseq Imad, Moni Talukdar and Mohammad Raziul Islam Khan from Bangladesh, while Debashree Roy, Dwip Bhattacharya, Kartik Das Baul, Shankar Chakraborty, Tulika Basu and Sadhon Bagchi from India have acted in the film.
