Kuakata sea beach resort has been witnessing a large number of crowds since the beginning of the Eid-ul-Fitr holiday this year.
Patuakhali district administration and law enforcing agencies have taken tight security measures for safety of the tourists.  
 The natural beauty, suitable accommodation and other facilities at Kuakata tourist spot attracted the tourists. It is the only place in Bangladesh where you can enjoy sunrise and sunset. Now, hundreds of local and foreign tourists are gathering at Kuakata on the Bay of Bengal to enjoy natural beauty.
AM Mizanur Rahman Bullet, president of Kuakata press club, said hotel rooms have been booked by tourists from July 20 to August 2. This year, a large number of local and foreign tourists came to Kuakata to enjoy holy Eid-ul-Fitr holiday, he added
Ruman Imtiaz Tushar, Managing Director of Kuakata tourism, said keeping in view the Eid holiday, the residential hotels, picnic spots and tourist places of Kuakata were well decorated to greet the tourists. Besides, owners of residential hotels, restaurants and those rent out cars and engine boats are making a brisk business.
Mushfikur Rahman, Patuakhali police superintendent, said: “I have advised Kuakata tourist police unit, Kalapara PS and Kuakata ou post police stations to ensure security in Kuakata during Eid-ul-Fitr holiday.
