Seven arrested for making fake vehicle stickers in Mirpur

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested seven members of a syndicate making fake stickers to use in the vehicles for entering Dhaka Cantonment from Mirpur area of the capital on Monday night, reports UNB.
The arrestees are M Shakhawat Hossain, 38, M Shah Alam alias Sagar, 36, Aklima Begum Sumi, 30, M Salman Khan, 22, M Abdul Quader Pappu, 27, M Sohel Rana, 24, and M Faisal Hossain Babu, 19.
Tipped off, an elite force team conducted a drive at Mirpur around 10:30pm and arrested Shakawat and Sagar.
During interrogation, the duo disclosed that they make fake monograms at ‘Colour Zone Digital Printing House’ at Senpara Parbata of Mirpur-10, said Moyeed Mohammad Rubel, Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police of RAB-4.
Later, the Rab raided the printing house arrested five more syndicate members. They also recovered some fake vehicle stickers and sticker-making materials.
Station Headquarters of Dhaka Cantonment issue the stickers for identifying the vehicles those enter the cantonment.
