Kona to grace stages for rest of March

Popular singer Kona has her hands full in the coming days, as she will be performing in regular stage shows. The singer is scheduled to perform numerous stage shows over the month and for this, she could not manage time for any new song or music video. The singer will perform in seven stage shows, mostly on back to back days starting from tomorrow. She will be seen performing stage shows on March 14, 17, 18, 24, 25 and 26.
On Friday, Kona performed on stage in Rangamati marking the celebration of 50 years of Rangamati Girls High School. She also performed at a programme arranged for doctors at Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the capital yesterday. When inquired about her packed schedule, Kona said, “I am thankful to Allah that spring season also means the season of stage shows and it is going well. I am satisfied. It is also true that because of the stage shows, works for three of my music videos are currently stuck”.
On the music videos, Kona also said that she is hopeful to finish those as she could not manage time in March. Kona is quite adept in stage shows as she has been performing on stage since her childhood. Her first professional stage show was in 2000 at a hotel in Gulshan, where she rendered a song of Asha Bhosle and got Tk 2,000 in remuneration.  Meanwhile, Kona’s play back song ‘Dil Dil’ for the film ‘Bossgiri’ received 99 lakh views in last six months. Written by Kabir Bakul, the musical arrangement for the song was done by Showkat Ali Emon.
