Urmila Srabonti Kar, an audience-admired actress and the publication secretary of Publicity and Actors’ Association, has appologised to her co-artists and directors as they had to suffer schedule crisis for her sudden illness.   Urmila suddenly fell ill on March 8 and was rushed to the capital’s United Hospital. This had created crisis for many associated with her and for this she appologised saying, “I apologise to the directors and artists who were trapped due to my work schedule and faced problems. Please do not misunderstand me.”
“If I were not seriously ill, I would have tried to attend shooting. But there was no way. I was so sick that there was no alternative other than to be admitted to hospital,” she added.   
“I have never framed anyone with schedule earlier. This is the first time. So, I apologise to those who faced problems because of me”, she said.  
Due to Urmila’s sudden illness, director Zahid Hasan, B U Shuvo and Ezaz Munna have faced problems, Director Zahid Hasan said.
“We are all in the same family. Anyone in my family can fall ill suddenly. I will not term it as a schedule problem. It could happen to me. Moreover, I know Urmila very well, she is a good girl. Earlier she did nothing like that. So I pray for her quick recovery,” he added.
Urmila is being treated under Neurosurgery specialist Dr.Shafiq Rehman at the United Hospital. As per the doctor, a nerve in her back neck is becoming relatively narrow. Her family is planning to move her to Chennai for better treatment.
