Election Commission secretary Mohammad Abdullah yesterday said they are formulating the work plan to hold the next national election, reports UNB. "The big issue before the EC is holding the 11th parliamentary polls. We're preparing a checklist about our next tasks and the timeframe for completing the work. Hope, it'll be completed within 7-10 days," he said. The draft work plan will be placed before the Commission for finalising it. There will be a proposal in the work plan for holding dialogue with political parties, civil society members, media and other stakeholders, he said. "Though its Election Commission's absolute authority to decide about talks with political parties, we'll keep a proposal in it in this regard. We'll suggest sitting in talks with not only political parties but also all stakeholders, including the media. I think it's essential to elicit opinions from all stakeholders," he said.
