Opener Anamul Haque Bijoy got Non Objection Certificate (NOC) from Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) yesterday to play the final of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The final of the second edition will be held at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore in March 5. The wicketkeeper-batsman already got his visa and will fly at any time on the basis of available of ticket.
Bijoy told The Independent over phone that he got his NOC from the board. He has got his visa and will fly at any time available on ticket.
BCB chief executive Nizam Uddin Chowdhury confirmed the news of Bijoy’s NOC and said that they provided their permission after getting request from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). “Bijoy applied for his NOC to play the final of the PSL. But we gave it to him after getting request from the PCB,” said Nizam Uddin.
Bijoy will play for Quetta Gladiators, who already cruised to the final and will be face-off the winner of the third qualifying final between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi, the match was scheduled to start at Dubai International Cricket Stadium at 8:00pm.
On the other hand, a Bangladeshi security delegate will visit Pakistan along with the other Test nations during the PSL final in Lahore on March 5 to see their security arrangement. “The security officer from the government as our representative will join as an ICC delegate during the PSL final,’ Chowdhury told in response to a query.
