Four Bangladeshi players are in line to be put on the auction of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), scheduled to run from August 1-September 9.
Tamim Iqbal, Taskin Ahmed, Mahmudullah Riyad and Anamul Haque Bijoy are the four Bangladeshi players in the list of auction, to be held on March 10.
Reigning champions Jamaica Tallhwahs retained Shakib Al Hasan in the team. Tamim Iqbal is the other player to play the CPL earlier as he was the part of St. Jukes.
The CPL authority kept 258 foreign players in the draft list and most of the players were from Australia, South Africa, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan who have recently got IPL contract are also in the draft.
