Lustrous model-actress Mousumi Hamid, who is regularly seen appearing with different types of unique characters in the tele-dramas and telefilms, has once again played a unique role in a new tele-drama. DhakaLive has news that she has recently acted in the tele-drama titled ‘Shortcut Bhalobasa’, which has been written by Matia Banu Shaku and directed by Md Rabiul Sikder. The shooting of the tele-drama was completed in the capital’s Uttara area on February 24.
Mousumi Hamid has enacted the role of Raina in the tele-drama which has an original story, where popular actors Maznun Mizan and Sajal have played opposite her.
Mousumi said about working in the tele-drama, “To portray a character in this type of story is a little bit difficult. I worked in the script of Matia Banu Shaku earlier, who writes all extraordinary stories. I have tried to illustrate the ups and downs of my character properly through my earnest acting. I worked under the direction of Rabiul Sikder before. I hope this new work will be liked the audience.”
Director Rabiul Sikder informed that the tele-drama will be aired on a satellite TV channel very soon.
However, Mousumi Hamid earlier acted in a tele-drama titled ‘Painya Bhuter Prem’ directed by the same director. Her unique appearance in this tele-drama was widely admired by the audience.
On the other hand, the shooting of yet another new film, titled ‘Koyla’ starring Mousumi Hamid in a lead role, is likely to start from the middle of the current year. The film will be directed by Sumon
