The  81st birth anniversary of Bir Shreshtha Noor Mohammad Sheikh is being observed today in a befitting manner.
The Bir Shreshtha Noor Mohammad Sheikh Trust, Narail district administration and BGB Jessore region will observe the birth anniversary through various programmes.
The programmes include placing of floral wreaths at the Bir Shreshtha Noor Mohammad Sheikh portrait, qurankhani, milad mahfil and discussion.
Deputy Commissioner of Narail Helal Mahmud Sharif, who is also president of Bir Shreshtha Noor Mohammad Sheikh Trust, district council chairman Advocate Shorab Hossain Biswas, Police Super Sarder Rakibul islam, Nur Mohammad Sheikh Trust's member secretary Azizur Rahman Bhuiyan and other officials will attend the programmes at Nur Mohammad complex auditorium here.
Noor Mohammad Sheikh was born on February 26, 1936 at Mahiskhola village in Narail sadar upazila.
