GM Ziaur Rahman of Sheikh Russell Memorial Sporting Club took a solo lead in the International Mother Language Day International Rating Chess Tournament. The top ranking international player of the country pushed his collection to full six points at the end of sixth round games at the Ches Federation hall room yesterday. In 6th round GM Zia beat FM Emon.
 CM Sohel Chowdhury of Titas Club was in 2nd position with 5.6 points. Eleven players were sharing 3rd position with 5 points each.
