CHITTAGONG: All are set and a four-tier security measures have been ensured for observing the International Mother Language Day-2017 in a befitting manner in the city, reports BSS. Different organisations and individuals have been taking preparations to pay homage to the Language Martyrs .
Chittagong District Administration has chalked out elaborate programme keeping conformity with the national schedule on this occasion. The programme was finalized at a meeting held last week with Deputy Commissioner Shamsul Arefin in the chair at the conference room of DC.
The programmes include hand writing, drawing and singing competitions for children at Shishu Academy on Tuesday. The Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP), Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and district police have decided to enforce four-tier security measures in and around the Central Shaheed Minar in the city.
