Seminar on Mobile Applications and Cloud Server Platforms at ULAB

ULAB School of Business (USB) recently organised a discussion on “Opportunities for Startups through Mobile and Cloud Server Platforms” in the ULAB Auditorium, says a press release. The discussion was led by veteran entrepreneur, Shah Talukder, chairman and CEO, YAKSEE, Inc. , a Silicon Valley semiconductor and software development pioneer. The other two speakers were his daughter Leilah Talukder, who has engaged herself with pro bono outreach education initiative, and Zahid Rahim, another veteran of the Silicon Valley semiconductor industry; both are currently working at YAKSEE, Inc.
The programme started with the welcome speech by Professor Imran Rahman, Vice chancellor, ULAB. Then the key speaker Shah Talukder made a brilliant presentation on Yaksee, Inc and demonstrated its innovative app, Yaksee, which is a broadcast app that can revolutionize startup businesses and education sectors in Bangladeshi context. He also emphasized on multi-disciplinary orientation in undergraduate studies, that is what ULAB is striving for and business architecture for the students to challenge the dynamic shifts in the contemporary business world.   
It was a highly informative discussion for the students and audience. The team Yaksee comprised of Shah Talukder,  Leilah Talukder, Zahid Rahim, made real-time demonstration of their app through instant broadcast and conversations with people located all over the world, particularly talked to the people in San Jose, California, USA and Hyderabad in India . A good number of questions were asked by the audience and Shah and his team members responded all very clearly. The session was attended by USB faculty members and students.
