For her ample vocal power and unique singing style, versatile singer Sayera Reza has gained much popularity among the audience. Meanwhile, three of her solo albums and a number of mixed albums hit the audio market.
This time around, the US-based Bangladeshi singer is all set to bring her fourth solo album. The untitled album, which is currently underway, will feature three songs; among these, two tracks are original songs and other one is a cover song. The two original songs are written by Anurup Aich and Rabiul Islam Jibon, while the musical arrangement has been done by JK Majlish, Shihab Ripon and Nadim Bhuiyan. The album will be released soon after completing its work.
Sayera Reza said, “I always try to gift something new to the listeners in a different style. This time, I will also bring some new songs in a different form. I hope the listeners will like the songs.”
Sayera came into limelight in 2008 with her hugely popular song ‘Dhar Dharina’of her first album ‘Sukher Omil’. The award winning artiste earned listeners applause for her many other popular numbers, ‘Ek Nimishe’, ‘Maan Bhangabo’, ‘Tui Jodi Amar Hoitire’. She also sang the hit song ‘Ore Shona’ for the film ‘Common Gender’.
Her third solo album titled ‘Urban Folks’ exclusively on folk songs was released on September 5 last year in New York. The album was presented by the Blue Planet Group and released under the banner of Gaanchill Music. Prominent American and Bangladeshi musicians like Stephen Tubin, Dean Bohana, DJ Rahat, Shihub Ripon and Ahmed Kislu composed seven songs of the album.
Besides releasing albums on different occasions, she has been doing concerts at the various prestigious venues in London, Birmingham, Sweden, Brighton, Paris, Brussels, Bangkok, Florida, New York, and New Jersey.
