Towsif and Safa Kabir—two very popular names on the small screen today—had started their journey in 2013 with the tele-drama ‘@18 All-time Dourer Upor’. The programme was aired on February 13. Since then, the two have remained good friends. They even celebrate February 13 as their very own ‘friendship day’. They are planning to arrange a programme to celebrate their 4th friendship day on February 13 this year.
As part of the celebrations, the duo will be seen in a tele-drama titled ‘Tomake Astei Hobe’. It has been scripted and directed by Jakaria Soukhin.
In the drama, Towsif will play the role of Sabbir while Safa will play the role of Joyana. Sabbir falls in love with Joyana, but she avoids Sabbir. Will Joyana finally respond to Sabbir’s love? To find that out, you have to watch the drama unfold on RTV on February 13.
“Safa is a good friend of mine. She is doing very well among all the contemporary actresses. I always feel good when I act with Safa. The story of the tele-drama is interesting. Both of us have done the work earnestly,” Sabbir gushed about his co-star.
Safa, too, have great things to say about her friend and co-actor: “From the beginning, we have been good friends. Towsif is one friend I trust the most. That is why I feel comfortable working with him. In the drama ‘Tomake Astei hobe’, we have interesting roles. We are optimistic about its success.”
Towsif and Safa Kabir have acted in several tele-dramas under the direction of Meher Afroz Shaon, Redoan Rony, Imraul Rafat, Golam Muktadir, and others. They are currently acting in several tele-dramas, including Redoan Rony’s ‘Candi Chush’, Sazzad Sumon’s ‘Chewing gum’ and ‘Asutosh Sujon’s ‘Three Stars’.
