District administration of Barguna saved an underage girl from being the victim of child marriage on Thursday night, reports BSS from Barguna. Locals sources said father of the daughter Shahadat Hossain had made arrangements for holding marriage of his daughter Tangila, who is a student of class ten. Being informed, Executive Magistrate Rashedul Hasan reached to the house of Shahadat Hossain in Barguna Pourashava area with police and foiled the wedding Thursday night. However, father of the girl has committed not to give marry his daughter until she attains matured age.
