Some top government officials were transferred and given promotion in the latest reshuffle in the administration yesterday, UNB reports.
The public administration ministry issued several circulars in this regard. According to the circulars, Commerce Senior Secretary Hedayetullah Al Mamoon has been made Finance Senior Secretary while Cultural Affairs Secretary Aktari Mamtaz has been made Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) Secretary.
Posts and Telecommunications Division Secretary M Faizur Rahman Chowdhury has been made the Fisheries and Livestock Secretary while Fisheries and Livestock Secretary M Maksudul Hasan Khan has been made Textile and Jute Secretary.
Information & Communication Technology Division Secretary Shyam Sunder Sikder has been made Posts and Telecommunications Division Secretary while Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division Secretary M Farid Uddin Ahmed Chowdhury to Security Services Division Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Besides, Home Affairs Secretary Dr. Kamal Uddin Ahmed has been made to Public Security Division Secretary of the same ministry.
Director General Bangladesh Karmachari Kallyan Board (BKKB) Shirin Akhtar has been promoted to director general (acting secretary) of the BKKB.
Besides, five top officials have been promoted to acting secretaries of different division and ministries.
