Two eminent singers Anandamoyi Majumdar and Bulbul Islam mesmerised the audience with a number of popular Tagore songs at the Chhayanaut auditorium in the capital, as a part of the regular session of audience-admired musical show ‘Praner Khela’ on Tuesday evening.
Singers Anandamoyi Majumdar rendered a few of notable Tagore songs like ‘Basanta Tar Gaan Likhe Jay’, ‘Jodi Tare Nai Chini Goo’, ‘Gaaner Bhitor Diye Jokhon Dekhi Bhubon Khani’. Besides, she rendered the song of Atul Prasad Sen ‘Ami Badhinu Tomar Teere’.
Then, Bulbul Islam took the staged and rendered a number of Rabindra Sangeet, such as ‘Aupurup Tomar Bani’, Kobe Ami Bahir Holem Tomari Gaan Geye’, Gaaner Jharanatolay Tumi’, ‘Jago Jago Re Jago Songeet’, ‘Jibon Moroner Simana Chharaye’, ‘Tomay Gaan Sonabo’, Ami Je Gaan Gai’, ‘Kahar Golay Porabi Gaaner’, ‘Mone Robe Kina Robe Aamare’, ‘Ogo, Pother Sathi, Nomi Barambar’, ‘Pantha Tumi, Panthajoner Sokha He’, ‘Pothe Chole Jete Jete’, ‘Pothik Poran, Chol Chol Se Pothe’, ‘E pothe Ami Je Gechhi Bar Bar’, ‘Jete Jete Ekla Poth’ and ‘Pother Sesh Kothay, Sesh Kothay’.
During the entire programme, the singers were accompanied by Enamul Haque Omar on tabla, Binod Ray on keyboard, Asit Biswas on esraj and Najmul Alam Jhoru on mondira.
