Nightlong festival set to fascinate audience

A nightlong musical event titled ‘Bangla Khayal Utsab 2017’, organised by Channel i, is set to fascinate the audience for the third time. Beginning on January 31 evening at 6:30pm, the event will be continued till 9am of February 1 on the Channel i premises in the capital’s Tejgaon area.
DhakaLive has news that a total of 34 institutions, including the Music Department of Dhaka University and 150 artistes will participate in this year’s festival. Besides, participation of the novice artistes will be a special attraction in the festival this year. On the occasion of the festival, a press conference was arranged on the Channel i premises yesterday. The press conference was attended by Channel i Director and Head of News Shykh Seraj, music exponent Azad Rahman and eminent singer Ferdous Ara. Among others, Leo J Baroi, Dr Nashid Kamal, Dr Lina Taposhi Khan, Karim Shahbuddin and Anil Kumar Saha were present during the press conference.
The ‘3rd Bangla Khayal Utsab’ will be participated by the prominent artistes like Ferdous Ara, Ustad Karim Shahbuddin, Bijon Chandra Mistri, Tanjina Karim Swaralipi, Harunur Rashid, Priyanka Gope, Alif Alauddin, Gazi Abdul Hakim, Firoz Khan, Leo J Baroi and others. The festival will be anchored by Dilruba Sathi and produced by Ananya Ruma.
