Celebrated singer Sabina Yasmin and her daughter Yasmeen Fairooz alias Badhon had sung together in an album titled ‘Protichchobi’ 10 years ago. The album earned huge appreciation from the audience. In that connection, the mother and daughter have recently released a duet album this time around. With the titled ‘Abar Dujone’, the album has been released online this month.
DhakaLive has news that the album consists of 10 modern melodious Bangla songs. Among the songs, Sabina Yasmin and Badhon have lent vocals to three duet songs, such as Ichche Kore’, ‘Ek Chokhe’ and ‘Koto Bhalo Lage Ei Din’. The track ‘Koto Bhalo Lage Ei Din’ is taken from the film ‘Anurag’, and mother and daughter sang the song again, which was earlier sung by Sabina Yasmin.
The songs of the album are written by contemporary lyricists Jahid Akbar, Pradip Shaha, Shapnil and Ataur Rahman Khan, and composed by Maksud Jamil Mintu Rajesh Ghosh and Mohidul Hasan Mon.
Released by Studio MC Music, a music video has also been produced with a song titled ‘Dokhina Howa’ sung by Badhon. The music video is made by Shaikat Reza. l
