MANIKGANJ: The State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Zahid Malek said that Bangladesh is progressing fast in health sector under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, reports BSS. The state minister said this yesterday when he was speaking at a reception programmeg for the fresher students of 3rd year in Manikganj Medical College Hospital. He was attended the programme as the chief guest. He also said “We are achieved tremendous development in this sector.” It may be mentioned that neonatal death rate and maternity death rate reducing day by day under the health care services of community clinic which is special initiative by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The function was presided over by Prof Dr Aktaruzzaman while principal of the college Dr Imran Ali, civil surgeon of Manikganj Monjur Mohammad Shahria and Additional superintendent of police Zakir Hasan, among others, spoke on the occasion.
