FARIDPUR: LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Engineer Khandker Mosharraf Hossain said here yesterday that quality education was a must to turn the huge population to resources in Bangladesh, reports BSS."And this initiative must start from the rural sites," he said while peaking as the chief guest at the inauguration programme of the newly constructed Engineer Abdus Sobhan Bhaban of Pordia High School at Kanaipur here.Mosharaf said Bangladesh has a rich culture and tradition while its younger generations have tremendous potentials to grow and change the country.
He also hoped that this country would certainly emerge as a developed nation latest by 2041, a benchmark set by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The minister said the country has already gotten recognition as a 'role model' for development and soon it would become a 'development surprise' for rest of the world under the farsighted and able leadership of Sheikh Hasina, the three time prime minister and daughter of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
