Digital Innovation Fair kicks
off in Khulna Jan 26

KHULNA: A three-day ‘Digital Innovation Fair-2017’ will begin on January 26, reports UNB, District administration is organising the fair under Access to Information (A2i) programme of Prime Minister’s Office, official sources said. The objective of the fair is to popularise the ICT related activities among the people from all walks of life to help materialise the dream of building digital Bangladesh, as per vision 2021 declared by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
A preparatory meeting to make the fair a success was held at the conference room of deputy commissioner (DC) here on Thursday with DC Nazmul Ahan in the chair.
Various decisions, including ensuring the participation of all entrepreneurs of union digital centres and students of different educational institution including Khulna University and Khulna University of Engineering and Technology(KUET) and providing ideas to the learners about laptop, projector for holding multimedia classes and contents prepared by the teachers were taken. People will also get various services like one-stop postal service, land service, instant passport application, and online services of health, agriculture, fisheries and livestock from respective government departments during the fair. The DC Nazmul Ahsan urged all to visit the fair with their family members everyday and sought their cooperation to make the fair and seminar a success. A total of 77 department and organisations will set up stalls in the fair.
