Popular model-actress Mishu Chowdhury, who acted in a stage play ‘Nuruldineer Sarajibon’ produced by Bogra Theatre in 2009 last time, will make her return to theatre again with a brand new play ‘Surgaon’. The inaugural show of the play, which is the 22nd production of Desh Natok, will be staged tomorrow at 6:30pm at the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, Segun Bagicha in the city.
The play is written by Masum Reza, who also is in the direction of the production. With the direction of ‘Surgaon’, Masum Reza is directing any stage play after 16 long years.
Mishu Chowdhury said about returning to the theatre with ‘Surgaon’, “For making me a part of the play, I am immensely grateful to Desh Natok and Masum Reza. Wishing in advance, I am inviting all my friends, co-workers, well-wishers, family members and everyone to be our side on January 20 at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. I am requesting one and all to enjoy our play.”
On the other hand, Mishu-starrer drama serial ‘Maya’, directed by Ferdous Hasan, is currently being aired every Monday and Tuesday at 8pm on NTV. Besides, she is anchoring in a cricket show titled ‘We Love Sports’, which is being aired every day from 11am to 12pm on News24.
In addition, she is likely to start working in the film very soon as discussion centring her involvement in a big screen project is underway.
