To remember Suchitra Sen--the legendary Indian film actress originally from Pabna, Bangladesh--on the occasion of her third death anniversary (January 17), a special programme titled ‘Ei Path Jodi Na Shesh Hoy’ has been produced by the local TV channel Banglavision. The programme is scheduled to be aired today 6:20pm on Banglavision, with a repeat telecast tomorrow at 10:10am.
Alongside anchoring the programme, Shampa Reza and Syed Al Faruq also narrated different segments of it. Nahid Nazia and Soummo Bose will be seen performing songs in the programme. The programme focuses on the colourful life and work of Suchitra Sen, which will show how she became a legendary actress. Besides, the programme will also shed light on the all-time hit pair of the Indian Bengali film, Uttam-Suchitra. The interesting stories centring the duo’s work in the different films have been revealed here. Also facts like—the beginning of the Suchitra Sen’s career and acting opposite Uttam Kumar for the first time can be learnt from the programme. Besides showing various clips from the films of Suchitra Sen, different parts of the songs from her films also be shown in the programme.
