
A ten-day solo art exhibition of artist Mohammad Ibrahim is now underway at the Gallery 6 of National Art Gallery, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) in the capital. This is the 4th solo exhibition of artist Mohammad Ibrahim.
Former chairman of University Grants Commission, Professor Dr Nazrul Islam inaugurated the exhibition as chief guest on Friday at the National Art Plaza of BSA, while artist Samarjit Roy Choudhury and Md Ashraf Uddin Ahmed, Director (Finance) of Banglavision were present as special guests. Presided over by BSA Director General Liaquat Ali Lucky, artist Md Muniruzzaman, Director, Department of Fine Arts, BSA delivered the welcome speech at the ceremony.
A total of 97 artworks--using acrylic on canvas, acrylic on papers, oil on papers, pen and ink on papers, mixed media and air brush—have been put on display at the exhibition.
The exhibition is open to all from 11am to 8pm (Saturday-Thursday) and 3pm to 8pm on Friday, until January 15.
