Sirajganj: A mobile court on Saturday fined six truck drivers Tk 10,000 each for lifting sand illegally at Biara Ghat in the municipality on Saturday afternoon, reports UNB. The convicted drivers are: Hasan Ali, 40, Suman, 25, Harez, 32, Ratan, 35, Buddu, 38 and Lal Chan Sheikh, 42. They will have to serve 10 days in jail if they fail to pay the fine.
