Obid Rehan in new film after a decade

Obid Rehan, a young actor of the current generation, is currently working in a new film after one decade. This time around, he is acting in a film titled ‘Udiyaman Surja’, a Liberation War-based film, directed by Shafiul Azam.
DhakaLive has news that Obid is playing as a major of Pakistan Army in the film. Moreover, the half of the shooting of the film has already been completed.
Obid, who earlier acted in the Tauquir Ahmed’s ‘Joyjatra’ in 2004, said about working in the film, “This is my great fortune that both the ventures are Liberation War-based films in which I have acted. I am grateful to Tauquir Ahmed for involving me in a wonderful film in the beginning. I am also grateful to Shafiul Azam for the opportunity in his film. I believe that this film will also be liked by the viewers.”
Obid Rehan began his journey in acting with Theatre Centre in 1997. Then, he acted on the stage behalf of Natyakendra in 2000. He worked in TV plays under the direction of Rahmatullah Tuhin, Sokal Ahmed and Kaiser Ahmed. He also acted in the well-liked drama serial ‘Lal Neel Beguni’ under the direction of Zahid Hasan. He earned appreciation for his several stage plays such as ‘Araj Charitamrita’, ‘Projapati’, ‘Dalim Kumar’, ‘Pratisaran’ and ‘Bicchu’.
On the other hand, Obid-acted three drama serials are currently aired on three different channels; these are ‘Mon Theke Dure Noy’, ‘Sentimental Selim’ and ‘Vagabond’.
Today is the birthday of Obid Rehan. He will spend the day with his family members.
