RAJSHAHI: Passing out parade and oath-taking ceremony of the 46th batch of recruit Jail Guards was held at Jail Training Academy in the city yesterday amid festivity, reports BSS.
Senior Secretary to the Home Ministry Dr Mozammel Haque Khan attended and addressed the ceremony as the chief guest while Inspector General of Prisons Brig Gen Syed Iftekhar Uddin and Deputy Inspector General of Prison Bazlur Rashid spoke as the special guests.
Deputy Jailer of Rajshahi Central Jail Jakir Hossain conducted the parade.
Commissioner of Rajshahi division Helal-uddin Ahmed, DIG of Police of Rajshahi range Iqbal Bahar, Commissioner of RMP Md Shamsuddin and Deputy Commissioner of Rajshahi Mejbah Uddin Chowdhury, among other dignitaries, were present at the ceremony.
