Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said 506 more BRTC buses will be added to the current fleet
for convenience of the home-bound passengers during Eid-ul-Fitr. Besides, 55 more buses have been kept standby to face any emergency situation.
The minister said this while visiting Dhaka-Mymensingh highway at Cherag Ali Market area in Tongi of Gazipur yesterday.
He said hopefully, there will no problem on roads and highways in this year during the Eid. The condition of roads and highways is better across the country. The journey of the homebound people has to be made hassle-free at any cost, he asserted.
The minister also visited Joydebpur intersection.
