CHAPAINAWABGANJ: A student of a local madrasa was crushed under the wheels of a truck at Nayagola under Chapainawabganj municipality on the Chapai-nawabganj-Amnura road on Friday noon, reports BSS.
The deceased was identified as Bayejid, 13, son of Abu Bakkar of Nayagola Ghatpara under Chapainawabganj municipality.
Police and local sources said Bayejid suffered critical injuries as the truck hit his bicycle at about 11.30am.
The madrasa student was returning by the bicycle after enjoying a Victory Day march past. He died on the way to a local hospital.
