Recently, the government of the Stone Forest and CloudBridge Consulting International hosted a photography retrospective in Kunming. The exhibition displayed pictures submitted to the first ever Stone Forest International Photography Competition, and the contest winners were honored for their artistic work at the ceremony.
Foreign photographers from more than 10 countries participated in the contest. 35 charming photographical works of the stone forest, and exquisite embroidery works and garments of the Yi nationality and Sani nationality, feasted the eyes of the guests to their hearts’ content.
Yereth Jansen, CEO of CloudBridge told the reporter, “The goal of the contest was to let the world get to know the Stone Forest.” Millions of Chinese visit the UNESCO World Heritage site every year, he said, but the number of foreigners remains relatively small.
