Promising model-actress Mukti, who started her small screen journey 15 years ago through a tele-drama titled ‘Agnigiri opposite Tauquir Ahmed, has recently worked in two new plays for Bangladesh Television (BTV). The plays are ‘Adal Badal’ and ‘Chalo Badlai’, where she has enacted two important characters. Among these plays, ‘Chalo Badali’ is a drama serial, which focuses on the importance of paying tax to the government. DhakaLive has news that Mukti worked in one episode of this drama serial, where she acted opposite Sabbir Ahmed. On the other hand, she acted opposite Siddiqur Rahman in ‘Adal Badal’.
Mukti said about working in two plays and her irregular presence in acting, “To tell the truth, acting is not my profession, rather I still work in this medium for my passion for it. I love acting and I love to do acting. Even I love to practice acting. As a result, if the story and director are not good enough, I do not work. This is the reason for my irregular presence on the screen.”
“The stories of two dramas, made recently for BTV, are very contemporary and mind-blowing. I am really optimistic about both plays”, she added.
To note, Mukti made her big screen debut with Hasibul Islam Mizan-directed ‘Tumi Achho Hridoye’ in 2008.
