JESSORE: A three-day foundation training course for the journalists organised by Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) in association with Monirampur Press Club concluded at Monirampur municipality auditorium, reports BSS.
Director General (DG) of PIB Shah Alamgir inaugurated the course on Thursday as the chief guest while local upazila chairman Amzad Hossain Lavlu, mayor Kazi Mahmudul Hassan and treasurer of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) Madhusudan Mandal were present as special guests.
The course was rounded up yesterday afternoon with president of Monirampur Press Club SM Moznur Rahman in the chair. Lawmaker Swapon Bhttacharjee and local Upazila Nirbahi Officer Kamrul Hassan were present as the chief guest and special guest respectively.
The three-day course was conducted by Shah Alamgir, Madhusudan Mondal, chairman of Mass Communication and Journalism Department of Rajshahi University Dr Pradip Kumar Pande, professor of Dhaka University Shamim Reza, senior News Editor of Bangla Vision Abu Rushd Md Ruhul Amin and PIB Instructor Parveen Sultana Rabbi.
