For the third time, under the initiative of Channel i, the mega music event titled ‘Band Fest 2016’ will take place on December 1 from 11:05am to 5:30 on the premises on Channel i in the capital. Produced by Ananya Ruma, ‘Band Fest’ will be presented by Opu Mahfuz, Mousumi Barua, Safi Ahmed and Dilruba Sathi.   
DhakaLive has news that artistes from Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra will inaugurate the event. This year’s event will feature 27 bands such as Ayub Bacchu’s LRB, and a number of prominent troupes like Uccharon, Tirondaz, Joler Gaan, Durbin, Mehreen, Bangladesh, Metrical, Spondon, Carnival, The Manager, Torun, Conclusion, Sin, Poraho, Jatri, Shironamhin, Black, Obscure, Different Touch, Bappa and Friends, among others.
To provide further details about the mega event, a press conference was held yesterday on the Channel i premises, which was attended by Channel i managing director Faridur Reza Sagar, popular musician Ayub Bacchu, CEO of Well Food Syed Nurul Islam. Senior marketing manager of Edison Group Zahidul Islam, Tipu from the band Obscure, Zoad from Black, singer Parvez, Joy, among others, spoke at the press conference.
‘Band Fest 2016’ will also be aired live on December 1 from 11:05 am on Channel i.
