Labour leaders want justice for accident victims

Labour trade union leaders yesterday said that the lack of justice has let the spree of labor deaths due to industrial accidents go unabated. The leaders demanded immediate actions and proper justice from the respective authorities to check the accidents and enforce the industry owners to ensure proper safety standards at workplace.
The demand came during the day-long program organised by the labor trade union leaders on the occasion of fourth year anniversary of Tazrin factory fire incident at the Nischintapur area of Ashulia.
Advocate Montu Ghosh, leader of the labour trade union spoke on the occasion. Other labour leaders including MA Shahin, Iqbal Hossain, Saiful Islam Samir also attended the programme.
