Health Minister Mohammad Nasim said in capital yesterday BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia lies every day prior to iftar which is not supported by Islam, reports BSS.
“Our religion doesn’t permit us of resorting to falsehood keeping iftar items in front of us. But, the BNP chairperson is continuously doing so ignoring the norms and values of Islam,” he said while addressing a discussion as the chief guest.
Samyabadi Dal organised the discussion titled “BNP-Jamaat’s unholy alliance is barrier for democratic advancement” at the National Press Club here with its general secretary and former industries minister Dilip Barua presiding.
“Unnecessary criticism has become a political culture of the country and BNP is criticising the government without any valid ground.
