A woman was beaten to death allegedly by her husband following a family feud at Paikra village in Sadar upazila yesterday morning. The victim was identified as Nasima Khatun, 32, wife of Tahlim Bhuiyan, of the village. Being informed, police recovered the body of Nasima, who was married off to Tahlim four years ago, and sent it to Sadar hospital morgue for autopsy. After the incident, Tahlim and his family members fled away, police said. “We are conducting investigation into the matter to know whether it is a suicide or murder case,” said Sub-Inspector of Sadar police Sekhar Chandra Mallik.
