NARAIL: The National Sanitation Month and World Hand Washing Day was observed in the district town yesterday, reports BSS. To mark the occasion, a procession was held in the town which paraded different roads in morning. Showing documentary, hand washing demonstration and prize distribution ceremony were also staged. A discussion, organised by the district administration and Department of Public Health Engineering, was also arranged at the conference room of the Deputy Commi­ssioner. Deputy Commi­ssioner Md Helal Mahmud Sharif presided over the meeting while District Administrator advocate Sobhas Chandra Bose attended as the chief guest. Additional Deputy Commissioner Md Siddiqur Rahman, engineer Md Samiul Haque and Mahmud Ali addressed among others.
