For quite some time now, popular singer Rizia Parveen has entertained her listeners with film songs such as ‘Tumi Amar Chad Ami Chaderi Alo’ from the film ‘Chader Alo’, directed by Sheikh Nazrul Islam, ‘Premer Naame Mitthey Bolona, Sotti Kotha Gopon Korona’, ‘Sobar Jibone Prem Ase, Tai Sobai Bhalobase’ from the film ‘Bhangchur’ by Siddiq Jamal Nantu, ‘Akase Je Lokkho Tara Chad Kintu Ektare’ from the film ‘Coolie’ by Montazur Rahman Akbar, ‘Oh Hero Oh Hero I Love You’ from the film ‘Antare Antare’ by Shibly Sadik, among others. She first performed playback in the film ‘Talak’ directed by late Azharul Islam Khan, and from there has lent her voice to 1300 songs. She herself has 23 solo albums to her credit. Now, DhakaLive has news that the popular singer will soon be releasing her 24th solo album in a few months during Valentine’s Day.
As far as the new album is concerned, Rizia Parveen informed that she has completed the work for eight of the songs and as soon as the work for the remaining two songs will be completed, she will be presenting the new album to the audience. Rizia Parveen spoke about her singing, “I always enjoy singing, whether it is lending my vocals to film songs or to my own solo album. But I must say that I feel most satisfied when I perform on stage. This is because during stage shows, the audience response can be directly observed.” Her first solo album was ‘Prem’ under the banner of Don. This was followed by ‘Chokher Maya’, ‘Ananta Bhalobasa’ and 20 more albums.
