Popular actress-director Rokeya Prachi has proved her immense talents both in front and behind the camera. In addition to acting, she has also directed many projects such as the docu-fiction ‘Ekjon Nabab’, based on the late film actor Anwar Hossain. She also directed several tele-dramas and drama serials. Now, she has set her sights towards directing three telefilms.
She was supposed to begin the work for the telefilm titled ‘Swapna Sotti Hote Paare’, where actress Prasun Azad was supposed to be the lead. But due to recent fallout with the actress, Rokeya Prachi has decided to move forward with a new artiste. She will also be directing the telefilms ‘Talika’ and ‘Rubina, Amena Ebong Phulkir Galpa’. Currently the work of artiste selection is taking place.
Rokeya Prachi first directed the drama serial ‘Selai Paribar’ which was aired on Channel i. She acted in a new drama serial ‘Tubuo Bhalobasi’ which will be aired on Ananda TV. Rokeya Prachi-acted drama serial ‘Parampara’ is regularly being aired on SATV.
