Police recovered the body of a man bearing marks of bullet injury from Godkhali Kalibari area of Jhikargachha upazila yesterday morning.
The deceased was identified as Alamgir Hossain, 34, a resident of Sharifpur area in the upazila.
Masud Karim, officer-in-charge of Jhikargachha Police Station, said local people spotted the body in the area in the morning and informed police.
Police recovered the body around 8.30 am and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy.
