DINAJPUR: Two persons including a member of a union parishad were arrested with 70 bottles of phensidyl from Rail Station area here on Monday night, reports BSS.
Police said they caught Zakaria Zakir, a member of Khairbari Union Parishad under Phulbari Upazila, and drug peddler Rabiul Alam, son of a late police constable, with the phensidyl.
Bazlur Rashid, a sub-inspector of intelligence department, filed a case against the drug peddlers and sent them to jail after producing in the court.
