BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir yesterday voiced deep concern alleging that prison authorities are reluctant about ensuring due treatment to their party leader Ruhul Kabir Rizvi though he fell sick seriously, reports UNB. In a statement he said, Rizvi has been subjected to the government’s wrath as he had been vocal against its injustice and misdeeds. “We’re deeply concerned over the jail authorities’ utter negligence to ensure proper treatment to a national leader like Rizvi who seriously fell ill in prison,” Fakhrul said. The BNP leader also termed inhuman the jail authorities’ attitude towards the ailing BNP leader.
