Mash saves crazy fan from police

Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza showed as to why he is the most popular sportsman of the country. The match of the third ODI of Bangladesh and Afghanistan got halted for a while as a crazy fan ran on the field to give Mashrafe a hug during the 28th over of Afghanistan’s batting. While the stadium was under tight security, the fan’s entrance into the stadium bypassing all security left the on duty security personnel red faced. The young man named Mehedi Hasan, though, didn’t mean to cause any bodily harm. But at a time when security is a big issue for which the England’s tour to Bangladesh was at stake at one phase, this incident should definitely anger the BCB high ups.
The security personnel were about to beat the young fan after failing to handle the ground’s security properly, but Mashrafe resisted them. He even shook hands before hugging him. From the press box, it was clearly understood that he directed the security personnel not to beat him up. Police later took him to the police station. Such incidents, however, are quite common in different playgrounds across the world as the crazy fans often break the security to meet their heroes.
