Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will brief the media today on her recent visits to the US and Canada. The briefing will be held at the premier’s official residence Gana Bhaban at 4pm, says a press release signed by the prime minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim.
The premier returned home on Friday evening after participating in the fifth Replenishment Conference of Global Fund in Canada and the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in the United States. She left Dhaka on Sep 14, a day after Eid-ul-Azha, and returned after 17 days. During the visit, Sheikh Hasina received the UN-women 'Planet 50-50 Champion' and Global Partnership Forum 'Agent of Change Award'.
