Moulvibazar: A mobile court in a drive fined 13 traders Tk 2.70 lakh for selling edible oil without authorisation of Bangladesh Standards Testing Institute (BSTI) and seized 379 canes of edible oil in Sreemangal upazila on Monday, reports UNB. Sources said a mobile court led by upazila nirbahi officer of Sreemangal Shahid Mohammad Saidul Haque conducted the drive in different areas of the upazila, seized 379 canes of edible oil and fined 13 businesses a total of Tk 2.70 lakh for selling edible oil without BSTI approval. Assistant Commissioner (land) Nurul Huda, BSTI official Kawsar Ali, chairperson of Sreemangal Upazila Traders Association Sheikh Lutfur Rahman, general secretary Kodar Ali were present during the drive.
