A local Swechchhasebak League man was killed by unidentified men at Gulshanpara of the district town on Monday night. Deceased Tariqul Islam, 25, was a district unit activist of Swechchhasebak League and a resident of Baparipara of Jhenidah town. Police quoting local people said a gang numbering five to six swooped on Tariqul in Gulshanpara around at 9:30 pm.
