Arnob, an immensely popular singer-composer of this generation, has come up with a new track titled ‘Ei Sohor Amar, Ei Manush Amar’ in the much-anticipated film ‘Aynabaji’. The lyric of the song is written by the director of the film Amitabh Reza Chowdhury himself and cinematographed by Tanvir Hasan. The song is entirely based on the city Dhaka and the love people have for this city. Regarding the song, Arnob said, “I've played both as a solo musician and as a part of a bigger team, and the best part of working in a film is that you have such a huge, talented team to collaborate with. Working with the ‘Aynabaji’ team has been spectacular and I believe it has taken the song in a new direction than it would have otherwise gone.”
Arnob added, “This is a very touchy song for me due to the intensity and power it has over me because the way I can so strongly relate to it. It is a song of longing and hope, an array of emotions and thoughts. I look forward to my fans and the film audience hearing it. The song talks about the struggle and collision that Dhaka city goes through every day. Despite all the frustration and agitation, there is tremendous amount of love we people have for this city. This song is just that expression of the love and hate relationship that we have with our beloved city and a glimpse of what we people go through every day in it.”
Director of the film ’Aynabaji’ Amitabh Reza Chowdhury said "The film and Arnob together will provide the audience in Bangladesh something entirely unique – a completely locally created song of international standard and appeal. We hope the song will be very well received by the audience and I cannot wait for the audience in Bangladesh to hear and comment on it.”
