According to Yunnan Merchants Network(http://www.yn-invest. gov.cn/), Kaiyuan is introducing in-vestment to develop the Daheishan tourism project which is located at Daheishan Mountain in Dazhuang Hui Autonomous Township, Kaiyuan City in southeast Yunnan Province. 

The Daheishan scenic area, known as “The Shangri-La of Kaiyuan”, features Karst stone forests, rice terraces, alpine meadows and Yi folk culture. The project aims to build an alpine Karst eco-tourism area integrating natural landscapes, ecological protection, leisure, recreation and specialty agriculture and folk customs experiences.

The project is expected to involve an investment of 500 million yuan. Its site contains abundant high quality tourism resources, including a magnificent stone forest, spectacular rice terraces, beautiful alpine pastures, and profound Yi folk customs. In addition, the water supply, power supply and roads are ready for construction.

It has been learned that the project will cover a total area of 31.56 square kilometres. And Kaiyuan will provide foreign investors with favourable policies in terms of taxes and finances corresponding to the project’s contributions to local economic and social development.
